Silk Blouse Oooh la la!

Wow been a really fruitful couple of days. Yeah! I managed to get two shirts done this week. The Silk Blouse: I wanted to complete this last year but was so fearful of messing up the fabric. Wow I am so pleased with the results. I even finished the Silk Blouse with French seams.

Black Jacket Makes a Suit

Well, there has to be a starting point for this years challenge, and for me it will start with inventory. What do I have that I can cross of my list of what to make for this "essential" wardrobe? I looked and realized I made quite a few things (above are some of the best dresses I made), but not too many fit into the essential wardrobe category.

Black Jacket Makes a Suit

The "Black Jacket Makes a Suit" with 3/4 length sleeves. Well that leaves several useful items for me to sew this year.

First item to tackle will be:   Silk Blouse

My #1 goal this is to be more consistent. Many times I go the way of a sparkler, this year I am going the way of a burning ember. I want to keep burning no matter what sometimes high and other times I may smolder but the ultimate goal is to still keep burning. So, I am still on the prowl for making this wardrobe. Making the wardrobe by sewing almost all the item I possibly can.
